Environmentally responsible
While the lightweight chassis is so convenient to carry around, it’s the sustainable materials that make owning this machine a true delight. The ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 laptop is composed of 90% recycled magnesium on the C frame, and for the Storm Grey models, there’s 55% recycled aluminum on the D cover. Along with post-consumer content, recycled plastic in the enclosures for the speaker and battery, and the AC adapter, the packaging is plastic-free with 90% recycled and/or sustainable materials. Plus, the manufacturing process uses low-temperature soldering.

The ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 boasts a number of display options, ranging from a gorgeous 2.8K OLED with Dolby Vision® panel to lower resolution choices that offer touchscreens, PrivacyGuard, and various color gamuts. The ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 laptop definitely keeps you covered in both regards! Lightning-quick WiFi keeps you online when wireless coverage is available—but if you’re out of range, you can also jump online just like a smartphone when you choose the WWAN* configuration. What’s more, with the option of two battery sizes and rapid-charging technology, there’s little need to be tethered to an outlet. We use the US Department of Defense's MIL-STD 810H standards to create a balance of reliability and durability for our ThinkPad laptops. We test against 12 standards and more than 200 quality checks to ensure they run in extreme conditions.
