Cisco IOS Software Release 12.0(4)XJ Introduction This Product Bulletin describes the content and delivery of Cisco IOS(TM) Software Release 12.0(4)XJ. It should be used in conjunction with Product Bulletin titled, Cisco IOS Software Release 12.0T. For information about the Cisco IOS software release process, please see Product Bulletin #537. Software Content 12.0(4)XJ is an Early Deployment (ED) release parented to 12.0(4)T and supports the Cisco AS5200, AS5300, and AS5800. The consolidate IOS release 12.0T constantly delivers new platforms and new features to the market. As opposed to 12.0T, Cisco IOS 12.0(4)XJ incorporates all features of 12.0T up to 12.0(4)T. Subsequent releases of 12.0(4)XJ, namely 12.0(4)XJ1, 12.0(4)XJ2, etc. will only provide bug fixes and no new functionality. This restriction is in response to demand for higher reliability and stable code for the AS5200, AS5300, and AS5800 platforms. The first release of 12.0(4)XJ will include the following new features: - Internet Fax Store and Forward for the Cisco AS5300. - New NPE-300 CPU for the Cisco AS5800.
